Les Jeudis de l’Été: A festive evening in the heart of Vitré

Looking for a convivial summer break? The unmissable “Jeudis de l’Été” event is back in Vitré. Since 2004, this intergenerational event has been livening up the heart of the medieval city, offering families and friends a rich and varied program.

This Thursday, August 6, 2026, join us from 6:30 pm at the Place du Général de Gaulle. The evening will begin with a storytelling and musical walk, led by Marie Chiff’mine, Nicolas Rozé, and Christelle Bonneels (departure in front of the Tourist Office). Music will then take over at 7:30 pm with the band Dédé Combo, for a festive jazz and world music performance.

Throughout the evening, you will be able to enjoy local producer stalls to taste regional delicacies. Children will not be left out thanks to the activities offered by the “Rue du Bonheur” association (face painting workshop) and the Ludothèque du Centre Social de Vitré, which will set up its traditional wooden games.
